| Victory Pushes Vikings Record to 77-43 | With left fielder David Mena leading the charge, the Victoria Vikings defeated the San Angelo Mustangs, 5-2, at The drakkar. Mena, who is tied for 3rd in the LBL with a .528 slugging percentage, was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Werner Jackman was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 9 of 10 save opportunities. Victoria leads the Lyman Bostock League Earl Weaver Division by 17 games.
