Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Quebec Armada and Vancouver Pioneers.

The Quebec Armada defeated the Vancouver Pioneers, 13-7, at Lucky 7 Ballpark. Leading the charge for Quebec was shortstop Fernando Puente. He was 2-4 with a home run, a triple, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The Armada now have a mark of 27-26.

With Quebec leading 6-4 in the bottom of the sixth, Puente hit a fastball from Gilberto Velazquez for a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Armada ahead, 9-4.

"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Puente.
