St. Petersburg Bats Quiet in 7-0 Loss
The Brisbane Bush Wackers stopped the St. Petersburg Pelicans, 7-0, at Billy Mathews Field. The Bush Wackers got a big game from Jose Castillo, who went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Brisbane reliever Ricky Mora picked up the win, upping his record to 8-5. David Naranjo absorbed the loss. Brisbane has won 9 straight games.

With Brisbane leading 1-0 in the top of the fourth, Castillo hit a slider from David Naranjo for a grand slam home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Bush Wackers ahead, 5-0.

"To get where we want to as a team, we all have to do things out of our comfort zone," Castillo told the Brisbane Daily News.
