Apples Lose to Magicians in Walk-Off
The Baltimore Magicians, with some walk-off drama, delighted their fans at Baltimore Stadium.

The Baltimore Magicians topped the Carmel Apples, 5-4, in 10 innings at Baltimore Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Baltimore third baseman Josh Borga. Baltimore reliever Jake Parisi picked up the win, raising his record to 6-3. Manny Soto was tagged with the loss.

Baltimore got a knockout punch from Trevor Pendleton. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"It was a test of wills," said Manny Marin, the Baltimore skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."

At 74-42, Baltimore is in second place in the RCL HA Dusty Baker Division.
