The Walnut Creek Warriors downed the Pennsylvania Butterflies, 10-8, at The Kaleidoscope. Mario Rodriguez led the way, going 3-for-4 for Walnut Creek. Walnut Creek now has a record of 6-0.

Walnut Creek used the clutch hitting of Wally Cassell to capture the win. The catcher drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to give the Warriors the lead, 9-8. For the game, Cassell had 1 single and 2 doubles in 5 at-bats.

"Guys seem to be putting together some really nice at-bats right now," said Warriors manager Armando Medina.
