The Niagara Falls Barrels got a marvelous performance from pitcher Chris Cohen. The right-hander kept the Houston offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 4-2 Niagara Falls victory at Horseshoe Park. The winning pitcher was Cohen, now 5-6. He tossed 7 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 6 and fanning 7. The Barrels upped their record to 55-42.

Bubba Brantley hit a 3-run home run off Joey Anderson in the bottom of the first, which put the Barrels ahead, 3-0. In addition to the homer, Brantley had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.

Niagara Falls manager Mike Bouffard commended his team for "bagging a nice win."
