| Victory Over Bush Wackers Takes St. Petersburg to 77-37 | The St. Petersburg Pelicans extended their winning streak at Baylor Ballpark.
James Stevens pitched well, but his team, the Brisbane Bush Wackers, still dropped a 4-1 decision to the St. Petersburg Pelicans at Baylor Ballpark. The first-place Pelicans have won 7 straight games.
In the top of the 6th, catcher Nick Wood gave St. Petersburg the lead when he hit a 2-run double. The Pelicans had been trailing 1-0, but the two-out double off Brisbane pitcher Rich Pastrana changed that -- and St. Petersburg went on to win.
Wood attributed the win to "a well-rounded effort by the whole team."
