Mounties Claim Late Win
Starting pitcher Ryan Martin pitched well enough to help the Montreal Mounties beat the Cabo San Lucas Toreros, 5-3. Montreal reliever Rob Schuss picked up the win, while Victor Gonzalez took the loss for Cabo San Lucas. By defeating Cabo San Lucas, the first-place Mounties improved to 35-17.

Montreal took the lead, 5-3, on Alan Willer's 10th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Cabo San Lucas pitcher Victor Gonzalez in the bottom of the eighth.

"I really like what we did out there today," Willer said after the game.
