Quebec first baseman Chris Romanko had a good game, even if his team did not. The Armada dropped a 4-3 decision to Bighorn at Lucky 7 Ballpark. Romanko hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Bighorn pitcher Jeff Lee earned the win, hiking his record to 5-5. Victor Favela suffered the loss. Nick Merritt earned the save for Bighorn, his 9th of the year.

Bighorn used a well-timed hit by Bill Dunlap to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Bison ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Like I've always said, I'm the straw that stirs the drink," Dunlap said (again).

Their 25-35 record puts the Bison last in the Thurman Munson League West Division.
