Pelicans Rally For Late Win Over River Bandits
The St. Petersburg Pelicans and San Antonio River Bandits played an exciting game at Dr Pepper Stadium.

San Antonio shortstop Jesse Myers was sensational. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. St. Petersburg beat the River Bandits, 4-3. Myers was named the player of the game despite the loss. St. Petersburg is 4th in the RCLA Dusty Baker Division with a record of 53-57.

Masahiro Miura provided some late-game heroics for St. Petersburg. In the top of the ninth inning, he hit a run-scoring single. It came on a 1-0 fastball from Chris Schmidt and propelled St. Petersburg to a 4-3 lead.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Miura told the St. Petersburg News.
