Crosscutters Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Knights
The Williamsport Crosscutters beat the Kingwood Knights, 6-4, at Stable Park. Shannon Fuller was recognized as player of the game for his performance. He went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. The 23-year old right fielder was a menace to Kingwood all day. Pierre Gallet earned the save for Williamsport, his 6th of the year. The last-place Crosscutters lifted their record to 40-64.

Fuller had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Ignacio Flores, he banged a solo home run to left-center, giving the Crosscutters a 4-3 lead. It was the 11th home run of the year for Fuller.

"It was a solid team effort," said Fuller after the game.
