The San Angelo Mustangs had to overcome a big game from San Antonio designated hitter Alphonse Gerratana to leave Heartland Kettlecorn Stadium with a victory. And they did, winning, 10-9. Gerratana was 1 for 2 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. San Angelo reliever Alejandro Silva snagged the win, upping his record to 1-0. Rusty Campbell shouldered the loss. The Mustangs sport a record of 18-69.

Dusty Sullivan delivered a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth to win it for the Mustangs. For the game, Sullivan was 1-3 with a walk.

"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," Sullivan said.
