The 3-RBI night of left fielder Mike Klick helped the Elizabeth Town Thunder triumph, 11-6, over the Chippewa River Chiefs. Elizabeth Town, with the win, sits at 22-64.

The River Chiefs had been locked in a 4-4 tie with the Thunder going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 17-year old center fielder Joe Peckford came to the plate. Peckford hit a 2-run double on a 2-2 slider from Chippewa hurler Jesus Troche. It was Peckford's 2nd double of the year.

"You can never predict what'll happen," Peckford said. "That's why you play the game."
