River Chiefs Trip Road Warriors in Extras
|
Westside right fielder Suk-jin Pak had a good game, even if his team did not. The Road Warriors dropped a 6-4 decision to Chippewa at The Reservation. Pak went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Chippewa reliever David Conley got the win, raising his record to 9-2. Nate Ezzo was tagged with the loss. The Road Warriors, at 54-46, have lost 4 in a row.
Jerry Glenn had the critical at-bat for Chippewa. With two out in the bottom of the tenth inning, he hit a walk-off 2-run home run. It gave Chippewa the 6-4 walk-off win.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Glenn told the Chippewa Chronicle.
