The Brisbane Bush Wackers beat the Williamsport Crosscutters, 8-6, at Crosscutters Park. The Bush Wackers got a fine performance from first baseman Terry Ames, who captured player of the game honors. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times. Alfredo Carmona converted his 3rd save in 6 tries. With the win, Brisbane goes to 44-51, while the Crosscutters fall to 38-59.
In the top of the second, with Brisbane leading 3-1, the Crosscutters made a critical error. The blunder allowed Brisbane to score 1 and take the lead, 4-1.
