Five O's Suffer One-Run Loss at Okanagan
The Okanagan Lake Monsters racked up a win at Elks Stadium, bumping off the Oconomowoc Five O's, 5-4. Bill Lovett, who started for Okanagan, pitched effectively for his team. Jorge Ramirez notched his 21st save in 25 chances. The win for the Lake Monsters lifted their record to 54-43.

Okanagan took a 5-4 lead on Kevin Frederick's 17th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Frederick hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Oconomowoc pitcher John Plouffe visibly frustrated.

"Bill mixed and matched," said Okanagan manager Landy Lu.
