The Mexico City Luchadores defeated the Dallas Texans, 8-6, at Metroplex Park. Kevin Knox, who finished 3rd in the RCL in hits with 191 last year, was a standout performer for Mexico City. His 4 hits included 2 singles and 2 doubles -- this in addition to the 2 runs he scored and 2 he knocked in. Ray Heck earned the save for Mexico City, his 10th of the year. At 23-28, the Luchadores claim 5th place in the Roberto Clemente League Mike Brouillette Division.

With Mexico City leading 3-1 in the top of the sixth, Knox hit a cutter from Ben Nunley for a 2-run double. It was his 13th double of the season and put the Luchadores ahead, 5-1.
