McLane Goes Deep Twice in 15-14 Magicians Win
Jason McLane was the difference-maker for the Baltimore Magicians in what turned into a shootout with the Chippewa River Chiefs. McLane, who is tied for 7th in the TA in hits with 89, went 2-for-4 in the 15-14 Magicians win. The winner was Xavier Chavez in relief. His record improves to 4-1. Ralph Petsche took the loss. Raul Luna earned the save for Baltimore.

Baltimore took the lead, 15-14, on Steve Larson's 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Chippewa pitcher Ralph Petsche in the bottom of the eighth.

Larson told the Baltimore Today: "I don't know which I enjoy more -- being a ballplayer or the perks that come with being a ballplayer."

The winning streak has now reached 5 games for Baltimore.
