Dallas and Buffalo duked it out and the Texans came out victorious.

The Dallas Texans defeated the Buffalo Bison, 8-5, in Roberto Clemente League action at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Dean Hrusovsky pulled his weight. The 9-year veteran went 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. The win went to Cameron Mutton in relief. His record improves to 4-3. Carl Reusch took the loss. Chris Nugent earned the save for Dallas, his 14th of the year.

Hrusovsky had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Texans went on to win.

"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," Hrusovsky told the Dallas Bulletin.

The Texans raised their record to 22-37.
