Lake Monsters Topple Scorpions with Late Rally
The Sonoma Scorpions got a superb performance from pitcher Brian Peek, but the Okanagan Lake Monsters still won the game, 4-3. Peek was named the player of the game despite the loss. He threw 6 innings allowing 2 runs. Okanagan reliever Edward Calvert was the winner. His record is now 2-2. The losing pitcher was Darrell Cuff. Okanagan, now 47-44, holds 4th place in the TMLA Dick Williams Division.

Ray Tracy produced at a critical juncture for Okanagan. It happened in the bottom of the ninth with Darrell Cuff on the mound and Okanagan trailing 3-2. That's when the 23-year old right fielder Tracy hit a walk-off 2-run triple.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Tracy.
