The Memphis Blues defeated the St. Paul Saints, 7-3, at Saints Ballpark. Brenton Perfect, who is tied for 10th in the TA in total bases with 134, was a standout performer for Memphis. His 3 hits included 1 single and 2 doubles -- this in addition to the 2 runs he scored and 1 he knocked in. Adam Walsh closed it out for his 17th save. The Blues now own a record of 40-37.

Troy Hughes helped out the Memphis cause in the top of the seventh inning with a run-scoring triple. For the game, the shortstop went 1-3 with a triple and a walk.
