Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Knights beat the Vikings.

The Kingwood Knights handed the Victoria Vikings a sound defeat, 11-1, at Stable Park. Dan Wooten was a main contributor to the win. He went 2-4 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for Kingwood. Raul Cortes, the winner, improved to 5-2. He held Victoria to 1 run on 4 hits over 5.2 innings, while racking up 9 strikeouts.

Kingwood left fielder Dan Weber contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a sinker to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 46th hit of the season and put the Knights ahead, 4-1.
