St. Paul Beats Houston in 10-Inning Thriller
Soggy conditions did not keep St. Paul and Houston from playing their scheduled game.

The St. Paul Saints did just enough to secure a victory over the Houston Sting, 7-6, in 10 innings at Saints Ballpark. Nobody did more than third baseman Andrew Valentine. St. Paul is now 34-51, Houston 36-50.

The Saints got a clutch hit from second baseman David Valdovinos. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Saints.

In postgame comments, Valdovinos said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
