With second baseman Kevin Bennett leading the charge, the San Antonio River Bandits defeated the Nichols Gnats, 8-7, at The Pond. Bennett, who is rated as the 47th best prospect by BNN, went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 3 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The victory gives San Antonio a record of 39-35.

One big at-bat came with a runner on 1st in the top of the 11th inning. Will Hambleton hit a double off Nichols pitcher Travis Noecker. The River Bandits went on to win the game.
