Barrels Win in Glorious Fashion, 5-3
The Barrels earned a hard-fought, 5-3 win in 10 innings at Horseshoe Park. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from St. Paul pitcher Santiago Sanchez. Sanchez went 8 innings and allowed no runs. Niagara Falls reliever Jose Rodriguez picked up the win to move to 2-3. Ricardo Reyes suffered the loss. With the win, the Barrels have a record of 45-27.

Niagara Falls got a clutch hit from Sam Kowalski. The shortstop launched a 2-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.

"This place was rockin'," said Kowalski.
