Warriors Fall Short at Havana, 9-8
Despite a great performance by Walnut Creek second baseman Kevin McArdle, the Havana Stogies defeated the Warriors by the score of 9-8 at The Humidor. McArdle went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Rafael Alfaro came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 5 hits in 2.1 innings. His record now stands at 2-1. Havana now owns a record of 24-25.

Chase Waudby was the walk-off hero for Havana. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Stogies catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Waudby said.
