Larson Belts 5 Hits
All game long, Havana's Allen Larson was rattling the walls at Ram Brewery Ballpark and banging out base hits against the Bighorn Bison. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Stogies had a win, 14-6.

Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 23-year-old left fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."

Allen Larson grounded out in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Wes Stith in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Eric Steinbach in the 9th.

Looking at his present stats, Larson has compiled a .330 batting average in 47 games with a .418 on-base percentage, while hitting 16 home runs and driving in 39 runs.
