Mustangs Win with Late Rally
Jared Vanderford could take little solace in pitching a good game. The fact is his Moonbeam Martians lost, dropping a 2-1 decision to the San Angelo Mustangs in 10 innings at Abbey Stadium. The win makes last-place San Angelo 16-64.

Vanderford pitched a very strong game for the Martians, allowing 5 hits in 10 innings while striking out 16. It was all for naught, however.
