Bison Squeeze Out Win in Pitching Duel
|
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Buffalo Bison and the Quebec Armada. Buffalo won it, 1-0. Buffalo starter David Padilla was in command. Buffalo is now 30-18, while Quebec is 26-24.
The Bison got a big at-bat from second baseman Mace Kota. For the game, Kota went 1-4 with a home run. In the bottom of the first, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Buffalo a 1-0 lead.
"David is good at sticking to his strengths," said Buffalo manager Jon Green.
