Victory Pushes River Bandits Record to 34-30
Pete Weaver knocked in 3 runs to help San Antonio beat Eugene, 7-3. Weaver produced 2 singles and 1 home run. Bobby Cintron earned the win, while 23-year old right-handed pitcher Miguel Betancourt took the loss for Eugene. The save went to Rusty Campbell, his 2nd this season.

It could have been a different outcome for San Antonio, had it not been for Evan Hansen, the 21-year old catcher . Hansen contributed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put San Antonio up, 2-0.

"The key is not trying to do too much," said Weaver.

The win for the River Bandits lifted their record to 34-30.
