Starting pitcher Josh Roby fulfilled his part of the bargain, helping the Victoria Vikings stymie the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws, 4-2. Roby picked up the win for Victoria, going 7.2 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 9-0. Victoria currently is in third place in the TML HA Earl Weaver Division at 48-24.
The Vikings got a big at-bat from third baseman Rogelio Roman. For the game, Roman went 1 for 2 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 16th double of the season gave Victoria a 3-2 lead.
