Magicians Drop Panthers, 9-7
Baltimore registered a win at Franklin Mountains Field by beating the Charleston Panthers, 9-7. Pitcher Jonathan Crabb was one reason why the Magicians triumphed. Crabb picked up the win for Baltimore, going 6 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 1-2. Charleston is in the throes of a long losing streak, which is now 10 games.

Baltimore used a well-timed hit by Sam Bridgman to capture the win. The center fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Magicians ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 2 at-bats, it was important.

"Bad luck's the only luck we've had," said Charleston manager Jin-song Cheung.
