Hawaii Honu starter Jose Medrano was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Quebec Armada, 4-2. Medrano, now 2-5, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. Karl Molnar earned the save for Hawaii, his 9th of the year.

The Armada had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Honu going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 25-year old left fielder Sandy Rosales came to the plate. Rosales hit a run-scoring double on a 2-2 fastball from Quebec hurler Victor Favela. It was Rosales's 31st double of the year.

"We missed opportunities once again," said losing manager Ramu Pavi.

The win makes Hawaii 24-32.
