Saints Win Squeaker, 5-4, Over Knights

The St. Paul Saints handed the Kingwood Knights a loss at Saints Ballpark. The final score was 5-4. Bert Rivera was one of the major contributors for St. Paul. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 1 run and drove in 3. Dario Pena earned the save, his 2nd. At 22-40, the Saints claim last place in the TML A Dick Williams Division.
Had Rivera not come through in the bottom of the eighth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Rivera hit a run-scoring single. The Saints took the lead, 5-4, and never looked back.
"We're just going to try to build off this win," said Rivera.
