The Seattle Sasquatch got production up and down the lineup while beating the Mexico City Luchadores, 13-1. One standout was left fielder Ethan Morehead. Morehead, who is tied for 4th in the TML in bases on balls with 30, went 4-4 with 2 home runs, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice. The winning pitcher was Ozzie Pedro. He's now 3-4. He went 7.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits for the Sasquatch. With the victory, the Sasquatch upped their record to 33-24.
With Seattle trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Morehead hit a 2-run single off Mexico City hurler Eric Lewis. It was the 41st hit of the season for Morehead and put his team ahead, 2-1.
Mexico City manager Tewolde Ojo summed up his team's performance in one word: "Putrid."
