Jaylen Louis pitched well, but the Carmel Apples still lost the game, falling, 3-2, to the Ocala Knights at BLM Stadium. The Knights have an impressive 40-19 record.

The Knights got a big at-bat from designated hitter Larry Mark. For the game, Mark was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 16th home run of the season gave Ocala a 2-0 lead.

"Well, it's always frustrating to lose," said Carmel manager Hi-yuan Pan.
