The Montreal Jazz beat the Buffalo Bison, 9-6, at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium. Montreal shortstop Bob Enriquez had an outstanding performance. He went 3-3 with a home run, 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 runs. Josh Lassiter came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits in 2.2 innings. His record now stands at 3-0. Kenny Goswick closed the door for Montreal, picking up his 1st save of the year.

Curtis Dellinger came through with a big-time hit for Montreal. The pinch hitter smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 8-6. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"I like the roll we're on," said Montreal manager Pedro Gonzáles.
