Princes Stymie Edisto, Take 3-1 Win
|
Oscar Carrillo was in top form in a low-scoring contest between Bel Air and Edisto. The Princes right-hander was named the player of the game in Bel Air's 3-1 win. The losing skid has reached 6 games for Edisto.
La Lima, Honduras-born Robby Boyer came through in the clutch. In the top of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd and the Princes trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run double to right to put Bel Air on top.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Edisto manager Steve Lawrence.
