Will Busse helped his team muscle past the Carmel Apples, 7-4. In the game, the Ocala third baseman went 3 for 5 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs. Ocala reliever Jose Salazar picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Eli Alvarado took the loss. Stuart Byrnes closed out the game, earning his 7th save.

Danny Fernandez came through with a big-time hit for Ocala. The right fielder smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 7-4. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Enjoyed this one," Fernandez told the Ocala Bulletin. "But it's back to work tomorrow."

The Knights now have a mark of 35-30.
