The Quebec Armada picked up a win at "The Fort" at B.C. Place, dropping the Vancouver Pioneers, 4-3, in 15 innings. Ed Roby, who is tied for 4th in the RCL in complete games with 1, was the difference-maker. Quebec pitcher Mike Bergren got the win, upping his record to 2-1. Cameron Calder got the loss. The Roberto Clemente League International Division-leading Armada are 34-19.

Quebec used the timely hitting of Josh Davey to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 15th inning to put the Armada on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Our guys refused to lose," said Roby.
