The Marshall Lawmen beat the Eugene Emeralds, 10-8, at Prefontaine Park. The Lawmen got a fine performance from left fielder Dustin Horn, who went 3 for 3 with 3 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times. Gary Watts got the win, improving to 4-5. He pitched 6.1 innings, giving up 10 hits and 6 runs, while striking out 7 and walking 2. Blake Gottshall collected save number 2.

Marshall third baseman Andy Quinn contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the third. With two down, he hit a sinker to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 51st hit of the season and put the Lawmen ahead, 4-1.
