The Brisbane Bush Wackers scored a convincing win at Baylor Ballpark, defeating the San Antonio River Bandits, 11-2. One of the hitting stars was 21-year old left fielder Pat Ringler who was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Santos Machain, the winner, improved to 4-6. He held San Antonio to 2 runs on 5 hits over 5 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. The Bush Wackers saw their record improve to 26-27.

With Brisbane leading 2-1 in the bottom of the first, Ringler hit a fastball from Leo Mejia for a run-scoring double. It was his 11th double of the season and put the Bush Wackers ahead, 3-1.
