Clark goes 4-for-5 as Martians Squeeze Past St. Paul
The Moonbeam Martians turned back the St. Paul Saints, 5-4, at Saints Ballpark. Mike Clark, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 3 runs. Mahjoub Omariba came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 7 hits in 5 innings. His record now stands at 4-0. The Martians sport a record of 56-6.

Moonbeam used a clutch at-bat from Jorge Arredondo to capture the win. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Martians ahead, 5-4. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I still think this team has room for improvement," Arredondo told the Moonbeam Bulletin.
