Saints Come Back Late to Top River Chiefs
The Reservation was the site of a competitive game between the Chippewa River Chiefs and St. Paul Saints.

The St. Paul Saints got a strong performance from pitcher Peter Sawyer, who stymied the Chippewa offense en route to a 4-2 win at The Reservation. Jeremy Waldron notched his 18th save in 19 chances.

St. Paul used the timely hitting of Tony Collazo to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Saints ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"I made some pitches when I had to," said Sawyer.

The Saints, at 36-24, lead by one game in their division.
