Ferry 'Lights Out' in New Orleans Win
|
The New Orleans Jedi Knights picked up a win at The Republic, knocking off the Williamsport Crosscutters, 8-0. On the mound for New Orleans was right-hander Danny Ferry, who played a pivotal role in the win. New Orleans now owns a record of 26-35.
Ferry, a native of Anaheim, California, was dealing all game. He kept Williamsport hitters off-balance, while giving the Jedi Knights 8.2 quality innings. Ferry threw 105 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 11.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Ferry.
