McFadyen Leads Bandits to Win
Harvey McFadyen knocked in 4 runs to help Brownsville beat San Antonio, 11-5. McFadyen produced 3 singles and 1 home run. Tom Hughes earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 4 hits in 1.2 innings. His record is now 5-1. The defeat makes San Antonio 31-21.

With Brownsville leading 8-1 in the top of the fifth, McFadyen hit a 2-run single off San Antonio hurler Manny Conejo. It was the 68th hit of the season for McFadyen and put his team ahead, 10-1.
