St. Paul Beats West Virginia, 8-4
Starting pitcher Bobby Fontan pitched well enough to help the St. Paul Saints beat the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws, 8-4. Picking up the save was 22-year old left-handed pitcher Max Palenzuela. The Saints now have a record of 22-37 with the win over West Virginia.

The Saints got a big boost from third baseman Jesse Meyers who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first inning off Dancin' Outlaws hurler Jonathan Pagan. It was his 34th walk of the season and put St. Paul on top, 1-0.

"Coming in, from the get-go, I knew my stuff was good," said Fontan.
