Bye Impresses in Buffalo Loss
The Eagle Rock Ridge Runners weathered a fine game by Buffalo third baseman Josh Bye to upend the Bison, 11-6, at Ozark Mountain Stadium. Bye slugged 3 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored three times. Eagle Rock has now won 3 in a row.

Carl Farley had a big 2-run double for the Ridge Runners in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Eagle Rock trailing 4-3 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from 32-year old right-handed pitcher Jonathan Solano and swatted a double to right. It was his 14th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Ridge Runners ahead, 5-4.

"It was great to come out and swing the bats," Farley told the Eagle Rock Gazette.
