Marshall got a decent performance from pitcher Gary Watts, but it wasn't enough to beat the Niagara Falls Barrels. Niagara Falls won the The Cell contest, 5-3. Niagara Falls used the hitting of Jason Engel to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Barrels on top, 4-2. For the game, Engel had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

After the game, Niagara Falls manager Mike Bouffard applauded the team's effort. "We put some good AB's together," he said.
