The Elizabeth Town Thunder rode a solid performance from 19-year-old starting pitcher Omar Morales to a win, beating the St. Petersburg Pelicans, 1-0, at Billy Mathews Field. Picking up his 6th save was 19-year old right-handed pitcher Rod Morin. The win gives the Thunder a record of 11-40.

Morales delivered a quality start for Elizabeth Town. The 6-foot-4 left-hander allowed no earned runs on 3 hits over 7.2 innings of work.
