Tornadoes Handle Jacksonville, Snag 4-3 Win
|
The Kansas City Tornadoes picked up a win at Debris Field, downing the Jacksonville Pilots, 4-3. On the mound for Kansas City was left-hander Simon Slama, who played a pivotal role in the win. Bobby Milleville earned the save for Kansas City, his 13th of the year. Kansas City now owns a record of 21-34.
Roberto Navarro had a key at-bat with one out in the bottom of the third for Kansas City. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and the Tornadoes leading 3-1, he grounded out, driving in 1 run.
