Dalton Earns Praise as Five O's Topple River Chiefs, 17-6
Led by 19-year-old Oscar Dalton, the Oconomowoc Five O's downed the Chippewa River Chiefs, 17-6. Dalton went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 4 times and drove in 4 for Oconomowoc. The first-place Five O's improved to 37-16.

Bill Lord aided the Oconomowoc cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the first. For the game, the third baseman went 3-5 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
